Happy holidays and happy New Year! As we go into 2023, we just want to take a minute and reflect on what happened this year.
Thank you so much for your support throughout the two decades that we’ve been in the real estate industry. We really appreciate you! We did some incredible things this year, had some health issues, and took amazing vacations. Derek celebrated his 50th birthday, and we spent three weeks off the coast of Ecuador. These experiences have been life-changing!

Also, Mariana went on a little road trip with her dogs to see some family in Oregon and did a yoga retreat in the Colorado Mountains. In addition, we officially moved our youngest son to San Francisco because he’s with the San Francisco Ballet Company. We are very excited to watch him perform in The Nutcracker! Meanwhile, our other son is almost done with his schooling in video game design. Both our sons are in the fields they love, and we’re very proud of them!
We went to Nashville not just to have some business but also to have fun and eat the best fried chicken we’ve ever had in our entire lives. As for our challenges this year, we both got COVID, but we got through that as well.
Business-wise, 2022 was crazy. There was a lot of shifting and chaos. We received many calls from past clients, friends, and family who were concerned. We helped them get through this kind of shift in the market and became a valuable resource for them.
